Deep rock galactic is a special gem. You play as dwarfen miners, which has an extremely dangerous job to mine rare minerals for the galactic mining company.
Each mission you are sent down to gather some minerals or find a special resource. Explore the caves, dig to reach isolated areas and be prepared to shoot every hostile creature that approaches you.
When you found what you came for, run as quickly as possible to the elevator back home before you get swarmed by the enemy hordes.
The games missions is somewhat repetitive, but the randomly generated caves, the level up system with rewards and the games humorous approach makes us play more than we should.

Co-op
Each player gets to select and play a class. The classes differ vastly and provide their own rpg progression and abilities. This creates a great coop experience where every character provides really unique skills.
The recon that can grappling hook and shoot flares that light up a giant cave, the driller can drill through walls like its butter, creating new paths. The gunner provides the best firepower and can set up zip lines for everyone to use and finally the engineer that can set up platforms and deploy turrets.
Each with the unique gameplay and a well needed purpose.
