You play as demon hunters. Armed with flashlights, EMR-reader, infrared cameras, uv-lights and crucifixes you enter a haunted house. Will you find the ghost, identify and get the reward? Or will you anger the demon and perish?

This indie game developed by one single developer lacks a lot of content and feels unpolished. Yet it's one of the best coop games we ever played!

One of the best elements in the game is the voice recognition, it is used so the ghost can hear your voice. You can ask it questions or try to anger it by saying its name.

Co-op

Amazing coop! Besides the voice recognition used by the ghost, the game uses voice approximation, if you are far away from each other you have to use your walkie-talkies to communicate. You can only carry a limited amount of equipment so you have to setup your team well before moving in.

Some functions only work in the team's truck standing outside soo you will station one team member out in it from time to time to reveal hidden things making the game more dynamic, with a team leader in the truck monitoring the other players.

When someone dies its microphone dies and often the other team members will be scared, did the ghost get him or not? Is he not talking in the walkie cause he is hiding from the demon or did the demon kill him?

The fresh take on coop combined with a solid horror element for up to four friends makes Phasmophobia score the highest possible coop score!
