Game

Arggh mate! Raise anchor, load the cannons and set sail to find the sunken treasure. Sea of Thieves is a pirate simulator where you and some friends use a ship to travel between islands to explore the Caribbean islands around you.

The graphics are playful and the game is filled with humor. To keep you going you will get different quests that often can be a bit boring and repetitive after a few hours. But the game really shines when the most unexpected things that you didn't expect happens. A heavy storm that almost flush on to some large rocks or the ghost pirate ship that appears and try to sink you.

The game also randomly connects you to a server where other players roam with their ships. So be prepared from time to time for a PvP battle.

Even though the game doesn't have a main story it contains longer quests called "Tall tales" that have some story elements to it.

Co-op

You can pick between three different ship sizes depending on your crew. Up to four players can team up to find the treasures of Sea of Thieves. And to maneuver the bigger ships everyone has to be coordinated raising anchor, loading the cannons, repairing the hull, adjust the sails and steer the ship.

But even though we class it as a coop game, it is in fact also a PvP. So if you want a game without any hostile players in it perhaps this game ain't for you, but if you can live with that and want an adventuress game that gives the feeling that anything can happen then this is for you.
